Converging Coils
These hand-built ceramic structures explore interdependence, reciprocity, and mutual aid. Tubes twist, lean, and converge into spires, spheres, wishbones, or hourglass forms, evoking organic systems and architectural metaphors for support. Each coil is thumb-impressed, layering process and presence into the surface, while glazes highlight ridges and folds as traces of attentive making. The works translate feminist and participatory values into material form, offering viewers an encounter with solidarity, relationality, and the quiet rhythms of connection that unfold when elements hold and rely upon one another.
